“First job is supposed to be your big break. Mine wasn’t exactly that.”

I got hired as an HR, but ended up doing everything except HR work. One day I was juggling admin tasks, the next day, something else entirely. I wasn’t learning anything related to my field, and to top it off, there was so much micromanagement. It got to a point where I felt like I’d never leave the office–it just took the life out of me. The toxic work culture made me question if this is really what I signed up for.

That’s when I turned to LinkedIn. Just scrolling through, hoping to find something better. And then, I came across an HR’s post from AtliQ Technologies, and the way they treated their employees just stood out to me. It felt like the kind of place I’d been searching for.

Even though I didn’t have much experience in HR, I decided to go for it. Now, as an HR you don't get nervous as an interview candidate because HR has to interview everyone, interact with the team, have to conduct sessions and more. Yet, I was nervous. I first couldn't make it in the interview round. I got rejected. 

But here’s where things changed – Bhavin Sir, the founder of AtliQ, believed in second chances. He was so humble, so approachable, that my nervousness just faded away. And this time, I got in.

Now, it’s been 1.5 years at AtliQ, and I’m handling a team of 80+ people. From organizing fun activities to resolving team queries – it’s been an amazing journey. From day one, they treated me like a professional, not just some newbie intern. Even though I’m only 23, I’ve learned so much here.

When my family asks me, “How was your day?” I can genuinely say, “It was great! We had fun at work, and we did these activities.”

AtliQ gave me the real opportunity I was looking for. Even when I made mistakes, everyone was so supportive and taught me new things. I’ve grown so much, and I just hope I can continue to live up to the trust and expectations they’ve placed in me.”
